It is brown. At the end of the beak it has nostrils. Its eyes are behind the ears. He has a long beak. He has claws and wings . It lives in a burrow. It puts grass in the burrow. He eats insects. It goes to sleep during the day. He goes to sleep and at night time he stays up. It lays eggs and the father kiwi looks after the eggs while mum goes to sleep.

I loved reading all about the kiwi especially where the father looks after the eggs while Mum goes looking for food.
